Ingredients
  • 100 g kuskusa
  • 1/2 skodelice vode
  • sol
  • 1 ČŽ timijana
  • 1 ČŽ suhega rezanega drobnjaka
  • 1 ČŽ peteršilja
  • poper
  • 1 jajce
  • 1 zvrhana žlica kremnega sira
  • 10 - 20 g sir (Cheddar, Gauda)
  • olivno olje (za peko)
  • 4 zvrhane žlice kremnega sira
  • 2 - 3 ČŽ suhega rezanega drobnjaka
  • sol
  • 8 rezin pršuta ali dimljene slanine
  • 4 mehke suhe fige
  • svež drobnjak
Servings: tortic
Instructions
  1. Soljeno vodo zavremo in prelijemo čez kuskus. Posodo s kuskusom pokrijemo in pustimo stati približno pet minut oziroma dokler ne vpije vse vode. Nato kuskus z vilico razrahljamo in mu dodamo preostale začimbe in zelišča (timijan, drobnjak, peteršilj in poper). Zelišč seveda lahko uporabimo tudi več, kot je navedeno.
  2. V skledici razžvrkljamo jajce in mu dodamo žlico kremnega sira ter dobro premešamo. Mešanico vmešamo v kuskus z zelišči, nato pa dodamo še nariban sir (po želji - sir lahko iz recepta tudi povsem izpustite) in dobro premešamo, da se sestavine povežejo in dobimo maso, ki jo bomo lahko oblikovali v tortice.
  3. Z rokami in s pomočjo manjšega kozarca, merilne posodice ali modelčka za piškote oblikujemo enako velike tortice. Spečemo jih v ponvi na olivnem olju na srednji temperaturi, na vsaki strani približno 5 minut oziroma dokler ne dobijo rahlo rjave barve.
  4. Pečene tortice položimo na papirnato servieto, da vpije odvečno olje, in pustimo, da se malo ohladijo. Medtem pripravimo kremni sir - štiri žlice kremnega sira rahlo solimo in dodamo sušen rezani drobnjak. Dobro premešamo in preložimo v vrečko za serviranje z rebrastim nastavkom.
  5. Ko so tortice primerno ohlajene, vsako okrasimo s kremnim sirom, polovičko suhe fige in rezino pršuta ali dimljene slanine. Za piko na i dodamo še dve vejici svežega drobnjaka in takoj postrežemo.
